Roofer in Southampton
Southampton has one of the widest spreads of housing in Hampshire. Victorian and Edwardian terraces with natural slate roofs give way to inter-war semis with clay or concrete tiles, then post-war and modern estates further out.
Roofing that suits your home.
Terraced slate roofs often show their age through slipped slates, tired valleys and worn lead at the party walls and chimneys, and many can be repaired rather than stripped. Rear flat-roof extensions and dormer conversions are very common across the city, and we can replace failing felt with torch-on or EPDM systems, or rebuild the cheeks and flashings around a leaking dormer.
Modtra Roofing is a small team based in Ringwood, Hampshire. From your first call to completion, we focus on clear, accurate pricing, friendly service and careful workmanship. We repair rather than replace where possible.

“Modtra Roofing did an amazing job on a fibre cement slate roof for my garage build. Always on site prompt, worked to a very high standard and left the place tidy each day, highly recommended.”
“I have used this company a couple of times, they are always polite, prompt and reliable. Duncan is very obliging and professional. Brilliant job, would highly recommend.”
“In January in cold, slippery conditions, Duncan provided a professional roof fix on my flat, water had been coming in for a few weeks. He and his colleague spent a couple of days fixing a flat roof over the old one, making a run away for pooling water. A very good job indeed.”
